This Handmade Roman Lorica Squamata is inspired by classic SPQR Roman legionary armor, designed with historical accuracy and premium craftsmanship. The armor features finely crafted 15 × 25 mm overlapping brass scales, combined with a reinforced shoulder doubler and traditional pteruges, offering both authentic appearance and enhanced coverage.
The armor is constructed as a two-part set, consisting of a full torso scale armor with additional shoulder protection. Hundreds of brass scales are carefully stitched onto a durable cotton backing, providing flexibility and strength. The edges are finished with stitched brown leather trim, creating a sturdy frame and a refined Roman aesthetic.
