This Handmade Brass Lorica Squamata is an authentic Roman scale armor inspired by historical Roman military equipment. The armor is a two-part construction, consisting of a main torso armor with an additional reinforced shoulder doubler, offering both historical accuracy and visual impact.
Hundreds of overlapping solid brass scales are carefully stitched onto a thick cotton backing, providing flexibility, durability, and comfort. The entire armor is bordered with stitched brown leather edging, giving it a strong structure and a refined historical finish.
Designed for Roman reenactment, LARP, stage performances, cosplay, collectors, museums, and historical displays, this Lorica Squamata is fully adjustable using brass side buckles and leather laces, allowing a secure and comfortable fit.
